"Was he the one who chased you first?" Keira Leaf asked softly.
"Yes."
"You broke up after just several days?"
"Yes, we were only together for about a week, and then he suddenly stopped paying any attention to me." Emma Brown's eyes welled up with tears, as if recalling the past still made her feel terribly wronged.
"Why did you break up?" Keira Leaf frowned and asked, as if some thought flashed briefly through her mind.
"I don't know why. He suddenly turned distant, even though during the past week we were inseparable, even during meals, when he would buy me lots of gifts and treat me very well; everyone at the company building envied me. But once the week was up, he suddenly seemed like a different person and ignored me no matter what I did." Emma Brown seemed to finally find someone to confide in and was worried Keira Leaf might not believe her.
Keira Leaf nodded: "I see, then it really does seem like he's at fault."
