Seeing that Keira Leaf had not outright refused him, Joshua Sulliven felt particularly uneasy.
Originally, he thought that if she didn't love him anymore, he would work hard to make her fall in love with him again.
Yet she had always been rejecting and distancing herself from him.
But now, is she finally softening up?
Or does she have the intention to accept him?
After so much effort, there's finally some progress, and things seem to be moving in the direction he anticipated, yet inexplicably, he feels a heavy weight on his chest and can't bring himself to be happy.
Keira Leaf glanced at Joshua Sulliven's unpleasant expression, and a faint smile tugged at the corner of her mouth as she stood up with the food and walked to the Kitchen.
"Why are you still here? Are you sick and unaware that you should go lie in the bed?" Keira Leaf tidied up the bowl and chopsticks, and when she came out, she found Joshua Sulliven sitting o the sofa, causing her to frown slightly.
