Her brow was still furrowed, she took a step forward, intending to ask Norris to open the medicine box for her. Before she said anything, the voice of Trenton Smith came from behind.
"Norris." He walked in, "What are you doing here? Why aren't you downstairs eating?"
Norris turned around, looking at Trenton Smith as he entered from the corridor, pursing her lips slightly, and concealed some of her expression. She approached and took his hand: "It's nothing. I just came in to have a word with Abigail."
Abigail stood by the bed, watching Trenton Smith come over and gently take Norris's hand, then pulled her a little toward him, wrapping his arm around her.
Their posture was intimate, showing no fear of anyone's gaze.
Watching their hands clasped together, an unfamiliar emotion emerged in her heart.
