Abigail Moore propped her face on her hand, leaning on the dining table, watching the affectionate scene of the family of three in the living room. It was really hard to imagine that a man like Trenton Smith could have such a gentle expression. On a whim, she pulled out her phone from her pocket and snapped a photo of Norris Moore and his family in the living room.
The image of affection was frozen on her phone screen.
Abigail lowered her eyes and zoomed in on the photo, looking at the expressions on their faces.
This must be what happiness looks like, she thought to herself indifferently, her lips curling into a sarcastic smile, her own child, family of three, living happily ever after.
Luke Moore saw off Norris Moore and his family and returned to the dining room. He sat there in a contemplative silence, looking somewhat aged.
Abigail fiddled with her phone and suddenly asked, "Dad. Why did you make my sister marry my brother-in-law back then?"
