Norris Moore furrowed her brows, her tone somewhat stern: "Elias, you're only fifteen, you don't need to tough it out alone. Haven't I said it? I'm already back, if there's any trouble in the future, you can call me. Although your sister might not be reliable, she's more than capable of taking care of you."
Elias hung his head low and softly called out to her, "Sis…"
Norris Moore looked at the young boy's frustrated expression, sighed softly, and gently ruffled his short hair. Her voice, however, softened, "Besides, you're still a student. You have class tomorrow. Isn't it better to leave things like staying up all night to adults?"
Elias knew that if Norris Moore found out about this, she would probably be unhappy, so he didn't argue and took the scolding with his head down.
Norris Moore didn't have the heart to scold him either. Elias had been sensible and obedient since he was a child; he didn't tell her, probably because he didn't want her to worry.
