The Russian vodka, with an unusually high alcohol content, made Norris cough after just one sip. Her face flushed bright red as she covered her mouth and coughed incessantly. The Russians laughed heartily at her and said something unintelligible in Russian, then handed Trenton something.
Norris saw Trenton nod, reply with a sentence, and then stuff the item handed to him by the Russian into his pocket.
Norris dared not drink the bottle of vodka anymore; it was practically pure alcohol, burning all the way down her throat.
She pulled Trenton to the side and curiously asked, "What was he saying to you just now?"
"He was asking if this was your first time drinking, then gave me some hangover medicine that they brought from their side."
"Such strong liquor, even those who drink regularly wouldn't touch it," Norris was a bit speechless. How could she be so easily despised?
Trenton chuckled, holding her hand as they walked along the beach.
