The hotel was built by the British on Darcy Island. After the British withdrew from Darcy Island in 1978, the buildings they left behind were renovated by the locals. The elegant and classic British style has now incorporated a bit of the island's unique wildness and ruggedness.
Norris Moore followed Trenton Smith inside the hotel.
The hotel was very large. Although the grand lobby lights were on, there was not a single staff member present. Only the people brought by Philip Shaw, clad in black suits, were stationed on both sides of the hallway, their faces solemn and eerily quiet.
As Norris walked, a sense of panic rose within her. She looked up at Trenton Smith, who simply smiled at her gently, with a calm and composed demeanor.
His demeanor made Norris slowly calm down. He wasn't someone who went into a battle unprepared, and his calmness indicated that he already had a plan to retreat safely.
They were guided into a massive private room.
