Aldana Candi glared at him, pulled her hand back, and said, "Stop messing around."
The two were fooling around on the sofa when Ellen Candi and Angela Summer chatted and returned from outside.
Both of them were carrying lots of shopping bags, and Aldana stood up to greet them at the door.
"Aldana, we're having hotpot for lunch," Ellen said happily as soon as she saw her.
Behind her was Angela, who was constantly rolling her eyes.
Aldana said, "Isn't there food in the kitchen? Did you really have to buy more outside?"
"No hotpot ingredients. Besides, the produce in the supermarket looked pretty fresh, so we just bought some together."
Philip Shaw appeared out of nowhere, lazily leaning against the doorframe, eyeing Ellen and Angela's groceries. He then turned to Aldana, complaining, "I don't want to eat hotpot."
He was a clean freak and didn't like strong flavors or the smell of condiments on his clothes.
