James Black's voice was hoarse, "Jane Sampson, Happy New Year."
It took Jane Sampson a long time to press back her emotions while nestled in James Black's arms and finally manage to hold back her tears.
"James Black, can I be greedy and have you all to myself, not sharing you with anyone, and you being only mine forever?" Jane Sampson asked softly.
James Black heard the cautiousness in her voice and replied, "Okay, I approve."
"Really?" Jane Sampson wiped her eyes and then looked up at James Black, "I have three New Year wishes this year, do you want to hear them?"
"Go ahead," James Black nodded.
"The first one, I wish everyone is healthy and everything goes well," Jane Sampson said while raising her second thumb, "The second, I hope our country is peaceful and prosperous because only if the country is at peace can you be at peace."
She could only feel at ease if he was at peace.
