Knowing that James Black wouldn't lose his temper, Jane Sampson's courage climbed up a notch. She stood up, giggled at James Black with a smile, ran over, tiptoed, and kissed him on the face, then apologized with a laugh, "I was afraid you would get angry last night, so I didn't dare to show you. But it's the New Year, getting angry would really kill the festive mood, right?"
James Black gave a noncommittal hum. In fact, upon waking up this morning and seeing those messages on his phone twitter, he knew exactly what Jane Sampson's guilty demeanor before sleep last night was all about.
No wonder she was extra affectionate last night.
"I thought that by this morning, these hot topics would be suppressed, but instead, they've escalated." Jane Sampson's expression was very innocent, "I'll ask Sister Tin about it right now."
Having said that, Jane Sampson pulled James Black to sit down on the sofa and then made a phone call to Rock Bell.
