Jane Sampson felt that, hearing James Black's dismissive remarks about the gift she gave him, she should be angry.
But, after hearing him seriously saying that the plush doll wasn't as pretty as she was, she couldn't help but smile, grinning at her mobile phone screen happily.
"So, I look that good to you, huh?" Jane Sampson chuckled, knowing the plush doll was hand-stitched and couldn't possibly be as flawless in detail.
But hearing James Black's inadvertent compliment made Jane's heart overflow with joy.
James Black glanced at the woman on the mobile phone screen who was smiling happily, and all the anger in his heart dissipated because of her smile.
She always had a way of making him so mad that he wanted to strangle her, then using a smile to sweep all that anger away. She really knew how to torment people.
"Just this once, don't let me see these random things again," James Black pretended to grumble sternly, "I have a wife, I'd rather hug you than these things."
