"Jane." James Carter called out to Jane Sampson as soon as he saw her come in. He waited for Jane to smile and walk over to him before introducing her, "This is my grandpa, and this is my grandma. Both of them graduated from this school, so today, I'm accompanying them back to see the school and attend this event."
Jane Sampson hadn't expected these two elderly to be of such significant stature, so she quickly bowed to them and greeted, "Hello, Grandpa Carter, Grandma Carter, I am Jane Sampson."
After speaking, Jane took a glance over at Old Sir Carter, feeling that ever since she ran towards Mr. Carter, Old Sir Carter had been examining her with a very peculiar gaze.
Even Old Madam Carter noticed Old Sir Carter's gaze. She nudged her husband's hand and asked, "What's going on?"
Old Sir Carter came to his senses, smiled at his wife, and said, "Just now, when I saw her running over, it felt like the first time I saw you. This little lass, upon closer look, resembles you a bit."
