"In the family group, mom, dad, and grandparents mean that after our movie premieres, we'll hold a family banquet at the Carter home and formally introduce you to relatives and friends before adding you to the group. There are quite a few young ones in the group, and they're worried that if they add you now, your identity would be revealed prematurely, affecting our current movie."
James Carter was explaining why Jane Sampson hasn't been added to the family group yet.
"Alright, I'll listen to mom and dad." Jane Sampson smiled indifferently and waved her hand.
She knew that James Carter was saying all this because he was afraid she'd overthink it.
No matter what kind of mindset Jillian Carter had, knowing full well that Jane wasn't in the family group, she still blatantly mentioned things about the family group to her. Since she knew and wasn't in the group, James Carter was worried she'd overthink.
