"It wasn't bought by me, it was Mr. Carter's assistant who helped buy it. He drove out early to get it, waited a while for the freshly steamed ones, and then hurried back." Coco Edwards said, "He brought it to my room and asked me to quickly deliver it to you to try. He said this bun shop was recommended to Mr. Carter last night."
Coco watched Jane Sampson holding a bun and eating it in large bites, looking particularly happy. Coco was puzzled, "I say, little Jane, how come you still have such a good appetite? You can still eat? Aren't you too carefree?"
"Are you talking about the things Jillian Carter schemed about last night?" Jane Sampson smiled and shrugged, "Otherwise, what do you think I should do? Get angry and question Jillian Carter?"
"Not that, only a fool would question her." Coco Edwards shook her head, "Without any evidence, saying such things only makes us appear unreasonable and as if we're making trouble out of nothing."
