Jason Charlie thought to himself as he finally entered the room.
Amelia Charlie was standing by the side. Upon seeing Jason, she immediately spoke up, "Mom, Brother's here!"
After speaking, she walked over to Jason, grabbed his arm, and said, "Brother, quickly call out to Mom."
Jason instantly "thumped" down on his knees, then kowtowed to Old Mrs. Charlie, and hollered, "Mom!"
His voice was choked up, with a crying tone. Any uninformed person would certainly think he was an incredibly filial son.
Unfortunately, when Old Mrs. Charlie saw him, she was reminded of her deceased eldest son, and pain gripped her heart so fiercely that she covered her chest.
Without a word from her, Amelia helped Jason to his feet, "Brother, get up."
Jason didn't move. Instead, he spoke up, "Let me kowtow to our mom; it's my fault. I've realized my mistake for the rest of my life!"
After finishing, he kowtowed again, "Mom, please forgive me!"
