Carlos sighed. His voice was no longer the babyish tone from childhood; it now had a touch of magnetism—the most perfect voice he'd customized for himself. "In any case, stay cautious."
Barbara was about to say something when Iverson came back, holding a bowl of soup.
Barbara quickly shut her mouth and didn't say anything more.
She ate several pieces of beef and then noticed the soup. Without hesitation, she picked up the bowl and drank it as well.
After finishing the soup, she wiped her mouth and decided Iverson was a genuinely great guy.
