Baron Lawrence pressed his thin lips tightly together, really wanting to strangle her. He frowned and said grumpily, "Didn't you invite your friends to the wedding?"
"You mean Sister Tiffany and them? Yeah, I did."
His gaze was so deep it seemed like it could pull her in, "Don't you want them to see the best side of me?!"
Generally, women at such times wish their boyfriends would be flawless from head to toe so they can show off in front of friends, make them envious, and compliment her for finding the perfect husband.
Why does she seem completely clueless about this? Today she went to pick up her friend from the airport without inviting him and even let him wear an old watch at the wedding!
Sure, many of those watches have never been used.
But, once bought, they are considered old.
