"I understand." Baron Lawrence hung up the phone and put it back.
The temperature in the examination room suddenly dropped. The doctor, although bewildered, vaguely sensed that something extraordinary had been overheard. While nervously trying to lower his presence, the man who had just finished the call was already walking toward him, sitting back in his original position with indifference, "Do you know the consequences of speaking words you shouldn't say?"
This was a blatant warning!
The doctor grew increasingly tense, nodding repeatedly, "Y-yes, I understand. President Lawrence, I actually didn't hear anything you said, and I won't tell anyone."
"It doesn't matter if you do." The cold man leaned back against the chair, his sharp gaze sweeping over him, extremely bloodthirsty, "Unless you don't want your job and your tongue!"
