The manager's face was as rigid as a dog having a bad day, his expression stiff without extending a hand, calmly warning Lydia Bell with his eyes to stop causing trouble.
But Lydia Bell did not give him any face, now it's his turn to be embarrassed.
"I've signed it, now it's your turn." Lydia Bell reiterated, even pushing the document forward.
The manager was so angry he felt a blockage in his chest, unable to spit it out or swallow it down. He glanced around, his tone cold but not as forceful as before, "You think the company contract is child's play? You say the collaboration is over, so it's over? If you want to change managers, find the company. You want me to sign, unless you go through the Human Resources Department and get them to process the change for you."
