After returning to Clearwater City, Aria Jackson and Hudson Chester hadn't seen each other for a long time.
Aria was deeply engrossed in Lauren Jones' case, and she was so busy that she disappeared without a trace, not even leaving a phone call or a message.
Hudson held his phone, hesitating whether to call her, when suddenly his phone rang first.
He saw the caller ID and hesitated for a moment.
After a brief struggle, he finally picked up the call—
"Hudson, why haven't you been over lately?" A woman's voice came from the other end.
Hudson replied, "The hospital has been busy lately."
"No matter how busy you are, you can't skip meals." The woman's tone was full of concern, "How's everything going on your side? You used to order meals from me every day, didn't you? When are you going to bring her over here to sit down?"
"Uh… another day, she's been busy with work too lately." Hudson responded.
The other side of the call fell into a long silence.
