"Why?" Aaron Ray looked at Milton Bryce in shock.
Although Aaron Ray wasn't exactly a good person, he wasn't a treacherous villain either. If he didn't tell Harvey Howard, how was it any different from watching the man walk to his death?
Milton Bryce pulled him back, looked troubled, and said, "Think it through. Who are the kind of people daring enough to assassinate Harvey Howard? They've got to be fearless, ruthless! They've even planted a spy around Harvey Howard! If he comes out of this unscathed, won't they know it was you who tipped him off? Won't they retaliate against you? So... you can't say anything!"
"They won't necessarily find out." Aaron Ray frowned in reply, "Master Howard meets a lot of people every day, especially recently, when he's been seeing many important guests. Even if I did tip him off, they're unlikely to guess it's me, and maybe by then, the spy's identity would already be exposed."
