I opened my eyes to see a familiar but strange room, I knew that it was mine but at the same time I felt no connection to it, I sat up and looked around the room, it was spacious with a Victorian look to it with multiple paintings on the wall, to my shock the paintings moved but my mind quickly calmed down as if the moving paintings were normal, the floor was covered by a green rug with a purple rose in the middle, then a shout released from my mouth as I received the worst headache of my life, I grunted and rolled around in my bed, before I finally stopped and just stared at the ceiling with a thousand yard stare,
I was killed in a skydiving accident in my past life, my parachute was struck by lightning while I was in the sky, it caused my parachute to go out of control and for me to go unconscious, apparently my death wasn't how fate planned it, because this is what happened after I died,
I opened my eyes to see everything burning around me and people screaming and being tortured, my immediate thought was that I was in hell which I was partially correct, a feeling of dread washed over me after I actually processed the fact that I was in HELL, the feeling of dread quickly calmed down as I realized I was floating up, I looked up to see clouds that formed the shape of stairs, at the top of the cloud shaped stairs was a gigantic gate with an eye in the middle, I noticed that the eye was looking right at me as I floated upwards towards it, even though I was supposed to be freaked out that I was looking at what seemed to be a living gate, I was still relieved that I wasn't going to have to face eternal torment in hell, all of my joy and relief went away when I noticed the gate disappear and the hell under me crumble to dust, in the next millisecond I was laying down in the middle of a grass field with a sunset sky, I stood up to see a child with a white shirt and black shorts looking at me, "hello there" said the child, "allow me to explain, I am fate and what you call God, but I am also what you call the devil or karma, I control all that happens in this universe, every bad and good thing that has happened was because of me, but your death was something that I did not plan, so now I'm here to compensate for my mistake by giving you another chance at life in any world of your choosing other than this one because you have already died in it" said the fate "harry potter" was my answer 'can I have any wishes?" I asked "no what will happen to you in that world is decided by that world fate, bye now" "WAIT" I shouted but I was quickly absorbed into a void of nothingness, I could see my body disappearing in front of me and I could feel my memories slipping, away while my body felt like it was being pulled at the speed of light, and then I suddenly felt the warm feeling of a bed under me.
