Chapter 516 - Chapter 443.2 : Fairy Girl Defeated!!

Suddenly, Germain heard a rumble and saw the fairy girl's hands withdraw into the swirling black mist of resentment.

Then came the rolling thunderous sound…

A terrifying power was building up!

A dangerous spiritual instinct warned Germain immediately — he was locked on.

He quickly turned and flew toward the fairy girl's thighs, dodging the incoming strike.

However, the fairy girl moved aside just in time. She stretched her wings and shifted her steps so fast, it didn't seem like the movement of a giant creature at all.

In the next moment, a massive palm slammed down from the swirling smoke.

The explosive force was comparable to the infamous Poor Man's Rose—an impact so powerful it instantly engulfed everything in midair!

Boom—

Numerous thrones, platforms, and stone steps that hadn't yet fallen to the abyss below were pulverized into dust by that single strike.

The terrifying power shook the entire city to its core.

The rumbling noise only stopped after a while.

A figure crashed directly into a nearby stone wall, smashing a huge crater.

After some time, Germain crawled out of the crater, looking a bit battered.

His silver-white wings and jet-black robes were both damaged, but they were quickly repairing themselves.

He had reacted fast enough to avoid the full brunt of the blow, but he hadn't dodged far enough to escape the blast radius, so he had to endure the shockwave head-on.

Even so, if it weren't for his "Legendary form," his body would have been blown to pieces—completely destroyed and unable to continue fighting.

That said, it seemed the fairy girl had also used a lot of Nen with that attack.

Germain saw her take to the air, her legs slowly vanishing above the dark mist of resentment that blanketed the sky.

But Germain knew she would be back soon—there was no way she'd give up now.

He quickly took the chance to rest and heal.

His Hunter Badge began absorbing the surrounding resentment lingering in the air, and this time, there was little interference.

Soon enough, he heard the thunderous rumble again.

At the same time, the speed at which his Hunter Badge absorbed the resentment slowed down significantly—eventually grinding to a halt.

Germain understood: the fairy girl's influence had returned.

Then, two enormous feet emerged from the dark mist of resentment and stomped down.

Boom! Boom!

This time, without any platforms or stone steps to soften the impact, the fairy girl's legs landed directly in the abyssal valley below, in the vast pit filled with thousands.

Once again, the earth shook with a terrifying tremor.

Chunks of shattered rock flew into the air, smashing through the surrounding stone walls.

Stuck to some of the debris were sticky, clotted pieces of flesh—whose blood, no one knew.

Germain worried about Shizuku and the others, but he knew he couldn't lose his mind and rush to search for them. Doing so would only play into the Fairy Girl's hands.

He needed to hold onto his resolve and fight the Fairy Girl to the very end.

That was the best way to save Shizuku and the others, and to create a chance for their escape.

This time, as the Fairy Girl stomped down on the crowd, Germain looked up at her from below and finally saw more than just her legs.

He could see her chest, and the golden wings spreading across her back.

Boom—

Germain didn't hesitate. He stepped out from a huge hole in the stone wall, spinning swiftly as he flew straight toward the Fairy Girl's chest.

Sensing the incoming threat, the Fairy Girl swung her arms covered in a dark mist of Resentment, her palms crashing down one after the other toward Germain!

A violent wave of pressure struck first, instantly bearing down on Germain, trying to crush him to dust.

Even if he wasn't crushed, the next heavy blows would smash him, shattering his limbs and bones…

But Germain refused to accept any such outcome. A dark glow burst from him, shattering the pressure.

His form began to change.

The black lightning that cloaked his robe faded rapidly, replaced by a pure, holy silver. His whole being transformed into that of a beautiful angel.

Yet, this was not just for show.

What he sought was ultimate grace and speed.

Buzz—

Bang—

After a strange, muffled sound came a loud explosion.

By then, Germain's silver form had completely vanished between the Fairy Girl's crashing palms.

Puff, puff, puff—

The fading silhouette of the man ascending into the air was so fast that even the fairy girl's sharp eyes struggled to catch it.

In the next moment, a sharp sting erupted in her throat. Almost at the same time, a silver flash streaked across her eyes, and then her vision went completely dark!

Shhhh—

After a while, the fairy girl realized that Germain had, in an instant, slashed her throat and blinded her at the same time.

Filled with rage, the fairy girl screamed sharply. She raised her hands, covering her eyes and throat, using the black mist of resentment to heal her wounds.

With her keen senses, she tried to detect Germain's presence.

She had watched Germain's fight with Camilla and knew that he would never miss such a chance to attack.

Through her sensing, she realized Germain was right behind her—and his aura was completely different from before!

A shiver ran down the fairy girl's spine.

This time, all the silver-white light on Germain's body had vanished, swallowed by darkness. His wings had turned black, and the silver halo above his head had transformed into a dark crown.

The fairy girl reacted quickly, raising both arms behind her, trying to catch or push Germain away.

But Germain had already made his move.

Gripping a pitch-black greatsword, he summoned dark Nen energy. In an instant, his destructive power surged to its peak. He unleashed a devastating slash wave directly onto the back of the fairy girl's neck.

Boom—

The unparalleled slash wave shredded two of the fairy girl's fingers caught in its path, then struck perfectly at the back of her neck.

The black crescent blade revealed its deadly sharpness, slicing through flesh and sinking deep, like a guillotine blade dropping.

Crack—

More than half of the fairy girl's neck was severed, and carried by momentum, she bowed slightly. Her head tore from her body, tumbling down toward the ground.
