Chapter 518 - Chapter 445 : Burial Blade!!

Germain, who should have been crushed to death by the meteor shower, suddenly pushed aside the dirt from beneath the surface and crawled out of his grave like a living corpse.

Germain's body was battered, not a single part untouched.

Blood dripped from him, bones protruding through torn flesh like broken, sharp spikes.

His face was stained so deeply with crimson that it was almost unrecognizable.

His wings and robe were gone, and even his triangular hat and black cloak had been completely destroyed.

Yet, despite such severe injuries, the Hunter stood up.

He lifted his bleeding arm, the bones like blades beneath the skin.

With a sharp, slicing sound, he plunged his arm into his own chest.

His fingers moved inside his ribcage, wriggling and twisting with effort.

Then, with a grunt, he snapped one rib bone cleanly and pulled it out.

Blood poured onto the ground.

The Hunter raised the broken rib in his right hand, grabbed his Hunter's badge with his left, and pressed them together.

With a crisp snap, the two fused into one, forming a strange, massive scythe.

This weapon was called the "Burial Blade."

He took a step forward, and a loud crack echoed as spiderweb-like fractures spread across the ground.

Without hesitation, he launched himself at the headless Fairy.

From such a great distance, Germain closed the gap in an instant, landing calmly right in front of the Headless Fairy.

His eyes lifted, locking onto his prey for the night.

The Headless Fairy instinctively sensed an overwhelming threat.

Germain advanced toward the creature's massive right leg, raising the Burial Blade.

With lightning speed, he slashed, carving a deep, gash-like wound across her leg.

Puchi—

Blood poured out like a river. The fairy's flesh was cut as easily as tofu, a testament to the deadly sharpness of the Burial Blade.

At the same time, Germain's own wounds began to regenerate at an accelerated rate, fueled by the blade's power.

The Headless Fairy's heart pounded wildly.

Germain struck again. A flash of black light streaked through the air, leaving a large, crisscrossing wound on the fairy's thigh.

His injuries continued to heal rapidly.

Feeling her life force drain away, the fairy instantly understood the terrifying nature of that weapon.

It could steal the enemy's vitality and transfer it to its wielder.

She quickly took a step back, creating a wide space to avoid giving Germain the chance to follow up.

But stopping was never an option for Germain.

His bare feet slammed the ground with force, closing the distance between them in the blink of an eye.

The Headless Fairy knew she couldn't dodge his attacks forever.

So she raised her only remaining right arm, summoning a storm of curses and resentment.

With a fierce roar, she slammed a palm down toward Germain's feet.

Boom—

The explosive force of destruction shattered the ground, cracking it into countless pieces like a broken mirror.

Germain, however, gripped the Burial Blade in both hands, raising it high above his head, and braved the terrifying pressure as he pushed forward.

By the time he escaped the blast zone, his body was nothing but a mass of blood and flesh, writhing grotesquely — like a skeleton draped in a thin layer of skin struggling to move onward.

Yet, when he swung the Burial Blade, it suddenly elongated, slicing off the toes of the Headless Fairy.

His shattered body then miraculously began to reform at an incredible speed!

Flesh writhed, his face revived!

The severed toes tumbled through the air as Germain became a blur, stepping on the fallen toes before leaping upward and landing on the Headless Fairy's knee.

The Headless Fairy felt a wave of chilling terror, as if its heart had stopped — witnessing Germain recover so much vitality from near death in a single strike.

Now, this monster held that fearsome blade in its hands, standing right on top of it!

Too close!

Boom—

The shuddering Headless Fairy suddenly unleashed a dark wave of resentment from its body, trying to shake Germain off.

But Germain plunged the hooked blade of the Burial Blade into the Headless Fairy's abdomen, hanging himself firmly.

No matter how much the Headless Fairy fired at his body, he stood as immovable as a mountain, using the Burial Blade to continuously regenerate his blood and flesh!

When Germain drew the Burial Blade, it meant he had completely abandoned defense — his eyes only burning with the will to attack, attack, and attack again.

If he didn't attack, he would die.

The Headless Fairy's assault ended, but seeing Germain still alive, it panicked, raising its right hand and reaching out to grab him.

Germain, however, skillfully flipped onto the Headless Fairy's fingers, swinging the Burial Blade again — severing four fingers at once!

The Headless Fairy reared back in shock, instinctively swinging its right arm, then spreading its wings and flying away.

Right now, she felt like someone trying to cover a bug on the ground with a dome — only for the bug to suddenly fly up and land on her hand. It was a chilling feeling.

The Headless Fairy soared into the air, spreading her wings wide, lifting her high into the sky.

She intended to use the black mist of resentment—her own territory—to let the mist trap even the smallest targets for her.

Taking advantage of the Headless Fairy's ascent, Germain swung a wide, curved slash after passing her elbow!

Shhh—

The slash struck the golden wings, cutting off a small patch of flesh, but it didn't stop the Headless Fairy from flying.

So Germain boldly jumped onto the left golden wing, turning into a streak of blood-red shadow.

Wielding the Burial Blade, he kept chopping furiously!

Shhh, shhh, shhh—

By the time the Headless Fairy came to her senses, her entire left wing had been shredded into pieces of blood and flesh at incredible speed.

Her golden feathers had all but fallen off.

Losing one wing, the Headless Fairy quickly lost balance.

Relying on just one wing mid-air, she couldn't stay aloft and began to fall uncontrollably toward the ground.

Only a few hundred meters from the black mist of resentment above, she was unable to fly back up.

Her massive body crashed down with a thunderous roar, followed by earth-shaking tremors and explosive sounds.

Her skeleton shattered along with the ground beneath her.

Before the countless stones raised by the impact even had time to fall, Germain was already standing on the chest of the Headless Fairy, thrusting the Burial Blade deep into her flesh.

Shhh—

Dragging the sharp blade, he tore open the Headless Fairy's abdomen as he rushed forward.

At the same time, the wounds on his body rapidly healed, almost disappearing. As soon as his injuries closed, his aura began to recover.

The more he fought, the faster and stronger his recovery became.

As his strength grew, the Headless Fairy grew weaker and weaker, her life force gradually drained to nourish Germain.

After tearing open her abdomen, Germain saw her steaming organs and shattered bones.

He jumped down onto the cluster of hearts beating within her chest.

She had several hearts, all pounding loudly—thump, thump, thump.

The Headless Fairy sensed Germain's presence. She struggled painfully but was utterly powerless, with no strength left even for a last desperate attack.

Without hesitation, Germain swung the Burial Blade again and again, destroying her hearts one by one.

Finally, the Headless Fairy, stripped of all her hearts and most of her life force by Germain's blade, lay still on the broken earth.

Germain stepped down from the massive corpse.

Though bloodied all over, he was completely unscathed, his aura fully restored.

After the brutal battle with the terrifying giant fairy, Germain, using the Burial Blade, had barely suffered any loss—in fact, he was stronger than before the fight.

But above all, the most important thing was that he had won.
