The Basic laws of creation were fire, earth, wind, and water. Any cultivator could get in contact with these laws even before becoming immortal. They were the most widely cultivated laws and the ones in which success could be achieved with some ease.
The Mortal laws were Ice, lightning, magma, wood, metal, and sound. After this, there were the Sacred laws, which included light, darkness, void, gravity, and decay. As for the Supreme laws, these were laws that mortals could never cultivate under normal circumstances, and to touch them before they gained the appropriate level of power meant death. These laws included time, space, life, death, reincarnation, samsara, dream, fate, destiny, karma, soul, order, chaos, yin, yang, and a few others. A cultivator could get in contact with the Supreme laws, but in most cases, death would be the result. However, for the few with rare talent, this was a blessing they could take on and live to find glory.
