Du Heng and Wu Shengnan were busy preparing to film a TV drama at East Hill, and the atmosphere was joyful.
The only drawback was that Director Zheng had made Kang Zhirong stay behind.
Du Heng very much disliked this "light bulb," as Kang Zhirong's presence would disturb their private time together. It also constantly reminded him that he wasn't out here just for fun.
However, Director Zheng's reasoning was sound. Du Heng had come out under the pretext of a business trip. If he had no assistant and only his wife with him, it would inevitably lead to gossip.
Although everyone knew the real situation, they had to keep up appearances. Otherwise, it would be somewhat embarrassing later on.
And so, the group of four split up: Director Zheng set off alone for home, while Du Heng, Wu Shengnan, and Kang Zhirong departed for East Hill.
The thought of potentially becoming actors made Du Heng and Wu Shengnan especially happy, and Kang Zhirong was incredibly pleased as well.
