Sophie Sullivan looked up and saw Thomas Shannon walking in.
Seeing the dejected expression on her face, Thomas Shannon's gaze lingered there for a few seconds. "What's wrong?"
The doctor immediately stood up and said respectfully, "Young Master, the maniac's vocal cords need surgical repair, but now isn't the optimal time for the procedure. I'll prescribe her some more medicine to complement her treatment, so she can have the surgery as soon as possible."

With a faint acknowledgment, Thomas Shannon scratched Harry's furry chin with one hand. "Come here."
Though he hadn't specified a name, Sophie knew he was calling her.
She approached him and stopped. A warm, dry palm rested on her head.
His fingers closed gently, ruffling her hair twice. "Want to go out and get some fresh air?"
