The maid sneered, "Still dreaming of becoming the mistress? Take a good look at yourself."
Take a good look at myself? Sophie Sullivan lowered her head, chuckling softly. "You're so arrogant, attacking people based on their appearance. Do you think you're some kind of fairy?"
"I'm not a fairy, but I'm not as ugly as you," the maid quickly countered.
Sophie Sullivan gave a nonchalant laugh. "I hope you remember what you said today." She stared intently at the maid. "Likewise, I'll remember your face."
A flicker of panic crossed the maid's eyes. However, she quickly reasoned that Amelia Shaw was currently the favored one, and the maniac had already been cast aside. Whether she could make a comeback in the future was still unknown. So, she had nothing to be afraid of.
