Frank Mitchell tapped his fingers lightly on the desk. "Samuel, your request is not simple. I need to think long and hard about it."
"What, you can't do it?"
Amelia Shaw's heart skipped a beat.
"You said it yourself, the maniac is Thomas Shannon's woman. Thomas Shannon cherishes even his pets, let alone his own woman. Getting rid of the maniac isn't something that can be done overnight; it requires meticulous planning."
He didn't want Thomas Shannon to vent his wrath on him just for a woman. If he was going to get rid of the maniac, the plan had to be watertight. He had to ensure he couldn't be implicated.
Amelia Shaw felt Frank Mitchell had a point. She curbed her impatience and asked softly, "How long will your planning take?"
"Give me a few days. I'll notify you once the plan is ready. We'll coordinate our efforts from both inside and out and aim to eliminate her in one fell swoop."
