Thomas Shannon agreed so readily that George Field could hardly believe it. His gaze moved back and forth between Sophie Sullivan and Amelia Shaw.
One of these two women must be the one most important to him. No matter who it is, now that I have her, I hold the initiative.
"Alright," George Field said. "In two hours, you come alone with my son to City N. I assume you've already found my location. Remember, come alone with my son, or both of your women will be burned to ashes."
Burned to ashes? Thomas Shannon's thin lips pressed into a cold, unyielding line. George Field would have to be capable indeed to achieve that!
After hanging up the phone, Thomas Shannon looked at Charlie River. "Get ready. We're flying to City N immediately."
"Yes, Young Master."
Charlie River turned to leave, but Thomas Shannon spoke again, "Wait."
"Young Master, your orders?" Charlie River turned back.
"Take good care of their families."
