She raised her hand and pointed at the tiger. "You should go now. Don't follow us anymore."
The tiger roared and lay motionless on the sandy ground.
It refused to leave.
Sophie Sullivan pointed to the distance and said coldly, "Go, now! Don't follow us!"
The tiger roared, stood up, and staggered into the distance.
It would occasionally turn its head and glance at Sophie, slowly moving further and further away.
Suddenly, Sophie felt an emptiness in her heart... as if she had lost something. It was a bitter and uncomfortable feeling. At this moment, a tidal wave of emotions surged through her.
Sophie lost her appetite. She stood up and watched the tiger gradually disappear into the vast desert, little by little, vanishing from her sight.
"What's wrong?" Thomas Shannon noticed her unusual behavior, stood up, and pulled her into his embrace.
"Nothing."
