Sophie Sullivan took the milk and sipped it slowly.
William Guillen, Edward Benson, and Thomas Shannon were already chatting. Sophie listened for a while; it seemed they were discussing company matters.
She leaned against the sofa in boredom. After finishing her milk, she put the cup back on the tea table.
Although Thomas Shannon was engaged in the conversation, his gaze would occasionally fall on her face.
Seeing her leaning listlessly against the sofa, he seemed to realize that a young woman like her might be bored while three men discussed business.
Thomas Shannon leaned in and whispered by her ear, "Bored?"
Sophie nodded listlessly.
"There's a cinema downstairs. Want to watch a movie?"
"Sure." Sophie made to get up, but Thomas Shannon held her down with one hand. He chuckled and said, "I'll have Charlie River call a couple of female managers to go with you. There's also a shopping center here. You can browse and buy whatever you like."
