Chapter 128 - Chapter-127

Days, weeks, months—Himiko had already lost track of time since she ran away from home and decided to be herself. This led her to great discoveries, like her variant of her father's quirk, which allowed her to be undetectable and silent. Later, she learned that tasting someone's blood not only changed her appearance but also granted her their quirk, depending on the amount consumed.

Until now, she had killed 25 people, each unique with their peculiarities. It was exhilarating to drink their blood and pretend to be them, if only for short periods. Currently in Tokyo, she strolled through bustling streets, wearing her old school uniform, seemingly unaffected by the stares she received.

"Just look at that pretty bitch," commented a hooded guy with his gang of at least thirteen. They ogled as a blonde girl walked by. "When are you opening those legs, darling?" he asked, grinning perversely.

"Hmmmm~" Himiko winked mockingly, gesturing for them to follow her into an alley. They eagerly obliged, expecting some fun. But when they reached the alley, she was nowhere to be seen.

"Where is that bitch?" growled the leader, frustrated. Unnoticed, arms emerged from the darkness behind him and wrapped around his neck.

"Shhhhh~"

"Ahhhhgggggg!" The last thing he felt was a knife stabbing into his throat. Himiko emerged from the darkness, smiling, knife in hand, as her victim fell to the ground, bleeding to death.

"What the hell-s?!" More than one member of the gang recoiled in shock at their boss's murder.

Laughing softly, Himiko licked the blood-stained blade. "Mmmmmm! Not bad." Smiling, she looked at her remaining pursuers. "Who's next?"

"Kill that witch!" The gang attacked, but Himiko dodged each blow with ease. One by one, attackers fell until only six remained.

"I feel so... happy," euphoric Himiko slashed another attacker, cutting him gruesomely.

"But... Why do I feel like I'm missing something else?" Pausing, she felt a sense of incompleteness, despite the thrill of the fight.

In her distraction, a criminal shot her with a taser gun, paralyzing her. As they pounced on her, beating her mercilessly, tears streamed down her face. Her smile faded as she wondered how she ended up in this place.

"This is for Greck, witch," one said, brandishing a knife and preparing to assault her further.

Motionless, Himiko cried silently, her smile disappearing. "Oka-chan... Oto-chan... I'm tired."

"Himiko-chan, remember to brush your teeth before going to sleep."

"Yes!"

"Who wants your goodnight kiss?"

"Me! Me! Me!"

"Very well... good night, Himiko-chan…"

Toga could swear she felt her parents kissing her forehead. Her smile faded, and her gaze softened. "Good night..." With that thought, she prepared to close her eyes, but a sound made her open them again. Everyone present looked at a silhouette at the entrance of the alley, apparently a teenager in a black hoodie and pants. He wasn't very tall, suggesting he was around 14 or 15 years old.

"Hey?" The criminal standing over Himiko stood up, pointing his knife at the newcomer. Thorns slowly sprouted from the boy's arms, and his companions stood behind him on guard. "You better go! Or you'll be the one with a slit throat!" He threatened, but the newcomer approached anyway. "I said get out!" He ordered another to reload the Taser and shoot at the hooded man.

The shot hit the newcomer in the chest, but he kept coming. He removed the cables and scared the remaining gang members. "What the-" Before the wielder of the electric weapon could finish, the hooded man grabbed him by the neck and lifted him off the ground. Growling, the victim tried to escape, but the hooded man's fingers pierced his neck, gruesomely killing him.

"Monster!" Another criminal rushed forward with a steel pipe, but the hooded man caught it mid-air and shoved it into his mouth, blood splattering as it pierced his throat. Dropping the body, he attacked the remaining four.

He delivered a brutal blow to one's chest, breaking ribs and killing him instantly. Dodging a poisonous spit, he broke another's arm with ease, then threw him high into the air, killing him on impact from the fall. Toga watched in shock as the hooded man slammed the head of a thug against a wall, blood and brains splattering.

Feeling a strange warmth inside, she couldn't help but smile as the last criminal was grabbed by the neck and slammed to the ground, bones breaking.

After leaving all the vandals dead, the hooded man knelt beside the injured girl, extending his hand to gently touch her head. "You'll be fine..." His whisper was followed by a faint bluish glow covering his hand, slowly healing her wounds. "Everything will be fine..."

Haven't heard those words in a long time, Toga's heart skipped a beat. Did he care about her? With questions swirling in her head, she wanted to know more about this hooded man.

"Who are you?" She asked softly, noticing strands of golden hair and what appeared to be whiskers under the hood.

"Naruto..." His simple response echoed, as he wrapped his sweatshirt around her torn clothes.

"Naruto..." She almost savored the name, wondering if he was what she had been searching for—someone who looked like her real self. Hugging the warm jacket, she looked up, but he was gone, leaving only the sound of approaching sirens. Walking among the bodies, he disappeared into the darkness just as the authorities arrived.

….

Currently, in what was the lair of the League of Villains, we find Himiko Toga in her temporary room, lying on her bed, completely naked except for an old dark sweatshirt covering much of her body, leaving only her shapely legs and pale skin visible.

With a huge smile, the teenager eagerly anticipates reuniting with the person she crossed paths with so long ago. Inhaling deeply the scent of the dark garment, she still feels the intoxicating and addictive aroma of her savior, her goal, her lifesaver. "Ahhh~" With a strong blush on her cheeks and a dangerous gleam in her eyes, she wishes time would pass faster. Hugging the sweatshirt tightly, she closes her eyes, ready to sleep and dream of seeing him soon.

And would she be by his side to... kill him? Or love him? In her twisted mind, she couldn't discern the answer.
