Chapter 5 - Troubling Desires

After having a heart-to-heart talk with Mother, I had a very hard time sleeping. After all, she had given me a free pass to begin my life as a sexual creature.
Till now, this lady had to act as a nice and proper descendant all the time so as not to harm the name of the family. She also tried to give her best efforts whenever she could to appear as a worthy and valuable member of the nobility.
But, from now on, that time's the past.
Although I cannot act as a complete deviant, it would still be a major shift in this lady's day-to-day lifestyle.
But I quickly realized a problem. I had always imagined myself as a protagonist from those stories where they would be able to indulge in all kinds of crazy orgies and harems.
Girls would throw themselves at them from left and right, while they would continue to collect women until they had a thousand or more to themselves exclusively.
In my case, though.. I am scared. I'm not really an expert at dealing with women, not to mention in pursuing a romantic relationship with multiple women at once.
The worries regarding how and where to begin continued to torment my mind, as I had to suffer through a sleepless night.
Early in the morning, the maid was back again to attend to her morning duties.
Mother had said that this one is trustworthy since she chose her for me personally. She would even aid me in my future entanglements with women.
Let's try getting along with her for now. It would make no sense to be in a cold relationship with her when we would soon be partners in crime.
"O-Oh. Hi there. I-It's very bright outside today, r-right?"
The maid stared at my face for a while as she continued to stand in her position near the door.
AWKWARD. This feels really awkward. Her personality is really not compatible with mine at all.
I wonder how the two of us would be able to do anything together.
"Young Miss, the Mistress has asked me to guide you to the Maid's dormitory. If you find any of them to your liking, then you will be able to choose them to become your night partners."
"The maids change shifts at 6.00 AM, 2.00 PM, and 10.00 PM."
"For the sake of convenience, you could meet the ladies after the 2.00 PM shift. In the meantime, the Mistress has told me to inform you that you are free from the regular compulsory lessons from now on."
"You can use that time now as you see fit. These are the exact instructions from the Mistress."
I see. Mother is making things even more, easier for me. However.. I don't think that I will be able to do what she told me to do today.
I-It would be my first time after all...
I don't want to mess that up somehow, especially with those with whom I may have future interactions.
Making up my mind, I turned towards the maid and spoke to her,
"Well, I was thinking about.. visiting some other place today."
Sarah looked at my face expressionlessly for some time before she spoke up again,
"And, where would that place be, Young Miss?"
"Eh? Well... it's somewhere in the City. J-Just follow me there, okay? I'm sure that things would work out well somehow."
The maid kept staring at me without saying anything further. At the same time, I tried to recall the address of a place that I had heard of accidentally from this lady's Father.
The Red & Pink Brothel.
It is the official brothel of the City and is one of the biggest sources of tax income for the local government, i.e., my family.
Although there are some other brothels too, their quality is nothing when compared to the Red & Pink Brothel. The one running the place is from a Baron's family, which has served our family for hundreds of years.
Rather than the shady brothels where the issue of cleanliness and disease checks is not well regulated, the Red & Pink Brothel guarantees a great experience for its patrons.
Now that's the kind of place where I would like to have my first time.
Since this body had already reached eighteen years old of age, I don't think that doing 'that' would be anything wrong.
If I understood Mom's words correctly, then I am free to choose and pursue any woman of my liking.
Though to be honest, I don't want to do something scandalous like adultery or doing it against someone's wishes.
Sex is where the bodies and minds of two individuals connect to become a pleasurable experience for both of them.
I certainly don't advocate it to be used for any sadistic motives.
The maid didn't bother me much afterward. She just began to prepare some mild clothes for our outing today.
Perhaps she had sensed the nature of our outing; she wasn't preparing attractive and regal-looking clothes. Instead, her choice included a white shirt, a brown jacket, brown pants, and a pair of black shoes.
Incredibly common and low-key if you ask me. I believe that even the servants of this Mansion dress better than that.
What was this dress doing in my dresser? Ah! Now I remember. This young lady used to visit the City incognito to experience the daily lives of the Commoners.
She wanted to obtain their perspective to be able to better understand the territory that she might have to rule.
Thankfully, her efforts would prove to be useful for me today.

Although I would have preferred to dress by myself, the maid didn't seem to agree to it.
She insisted that she would do it herself, and so, after being bathed by a few maids in the bathing area, the maid brought me over to my room and began to dress me up.
It wasn't really a problem, though, since my little junior had no intentions of saluting this maid at all.
"Young Miss., may I ask what kind of woman you personally prefer?"
And then, she dropped this bomb on me.
