After the Dark Magus had already taken down two of the Grand Magus, no one would be foolish enough to think that the Cerebus Guild and whoever else Gizin had hired would be strong enough to take Raze down permanently. All Raze needed to do was create an unmissable spectacle to get his attention, and with a large-scale attack like the one Raze had just executed, making a giant hole in the street above, he had sent a clear message.
That was the moment Gizin could finally be seen in the distance, silhouetted against the bright sky.
