Its large hands slashed at the elevator. The whole thing rattled and I stepped back from the impact. I took a second to asses the situation, then I grip the 2 blades in my hands and slash at the creature. Its left arm falls to ground and black ooze leaks out. I hear it shriek in pain right before coming at me again.
It goes for my head but I dodge it just in time. I take my blades and stab them both right through it's chest. The black ooze spurts out as it falls to the ground. I get a good look at its face. The dark grey skin with tiny eyes and a huge mouth stretching from ear to ear. I stare at it until I hear more of them coming for me.
I run into the elevator and start hitting buttons. Nothing is happening and the creatures are getting closer. Didn't think elevators could be so complicated. I keep on going until I flick a lever and the elevator starts going up. It keeps on going for a while and the creatures seem to get smaller and smaller until there's nothing but darkness.
I look up and try to find the top, because so far this thing hasn't ended and its been 5 minutes.
There is none... I think.
The elevator does stop though. Seemingly nowhere. Then a platform starts to form out of the air. The elevator door opens and I step on the platform. Its pretty small maybe 2ft by 2ft.
Then another forms a bit bigger and I jump onto it. I look behind me and the platform is gone. So is the elevator. I continue on the platforms, one after the other. They just kept on going.
I jumped on one and noticed it was much larger than the rest. I also realized there was a chair. With someone, or something, on it.
I carefully step towards it. I take the butt of one of the swords and tap the lump on the chair. It doesn't move. I step back, letting go of a breath I was apparently holding. Then, it sat up. So suddenly it looked like it had just teleported. The chair along with the man disappeared and appeared just as quickly on the next platform.
I jumped right after it. On this platform, the chair was gone and the figure stood up. Then it went on to the next platform.
Now it's hand was up. There were words on it and it said stop. Confused, I did what it said. It gave me time to take a better look at the figure. Thing is, there was nothing to look at. All that was there was a dark silhouette. I look back at the hand(if that's what that is) and see that the words changed. It now read
"Continue on"
Just then another platform appeared. I jumped onto it without looking back at the silhouette. This time the platform thing continues on for a while. I follow it till I get to a door. Without a second thought I open it. The inside is lit with candles and lanterns. I see nothing but a wooden bench. The feeling of tiredness takes over and I can't help but sit down on it.
A second after sitting everything goes black. After a moment I can see my surroundings once more. I'm back in my room. I look to the right and my clock is there showing 12:01 am. Looks like I'm back.
I get ready for bed and flop down. I have school tomorrow. Or later today I should say. I lay awake for a few seconds before sleep takes over me.
