Chapter 28 - "He is a Monster"

Galacor (V-319): A version of Galacor sat at a large computer screen. Instead of acting like an assassin, he was a scientist, donning a large black lab coat and glasses. He pressed numerous keys on a large screen-like keyboard before suddenly hearing a large door open behind him. "O-oh, Central Point Galacor, I see you have returned..." His voice was shaky and nervous.

Galacor: He pulled his hood down, and his half-mask that covered his lower face retracted back. "Have you been monitoring Star?" His voice was stern and commanded extreme authority to his other variant.

Galacor (V-319): "Y-Yes sir, extremely closely just as you asked. I am not entirely sure why exactly you wanted me to monitor a hero, though, sir." He jolted back, hearing Galacor's fist slam against a metal desk, smashing it into the floor.

Galacor: He glared at his variant, his eyes gleaming with a deep red. "He is no hero, he is a monster. A beast bent on a lie that he represents something good, a failure of a deity, a disgusting abomination to every universe he will ever step into. One who murdered my entire race just because he thought he was superior, do not call him a hero, when you are near me..."

Galacor (V-319): He got down on his knees, tears dripping from his cheeks. "Yes, sir. Of course, I'm very sorry for overstepping. Please don't do anything to me or my family."

Galacor: He stared down at his other version in disgust. "Get up. If you are made from my image, then you will stand."

Galacor (V-319): He stood up quickly, wiping his face of any tears. "Would you like the report, sir?"

Galacor: "What the fuck do you think?"

Galacor (V-319): He cleared his throat, hastily grabbing a clipboard off of his desk. "Uhm, Star's mastery of his powers is still severely lacking, causing him to rely purely on speed and strength. Although, according to my readings, Star's strength and speed have drastically increased since your last encounter with him, it's completely off the charts!"

Galacor: He tapped his fingers against another nearby desk, staring at his variant while he read off what was on his clipboard. "So he would be a worthy opponent to my Emperor?"

Galacor (V-319): He pushed his glasses up, "Uhm, it's difficult to say. You won't let me take any readings of your Phantom's power levels. If, based on your last encounter using the Mask variant, you would need to completely shatter your Soul Essence limits to reach the state he is currently at."

Galacor: He walked a bit closer, his hands balling into fists. "Do you know why I won't let you read its power levels?"

Galacor (V-319): "N-No sir."

Galacor: A rift opened to his right. he reached in, pulling out a folder that would originally be in his variant's desk. He slammed it down on the desk, revealing a picture of some kind of gauntlet device, labeled, 'Point Eraser.' "Two reasons: for starters, because you would not be able to, and secondly, you have been plotting to try and erase me with this strange device you've been cooking up..."

Galacor (V-319): His eyes widened, staring down at the folder with the blueprint sticking slightly out and then back at Galacor, pure fear filling his eyes.

Galacor: "Go ahead. Try. I am giving you a chance to try and avenge your family."

Galacor (V-319): "What?" A spark of rage killed some of the fear within his gaze, he gripped onto his forearm. "You said that you wouldn't harm them as long as I did exactly what you asked!"

Galacor: "I wouldn't harm them. I never said my Emperor couldn't. You really need to listen carefully to the words that are used in a sentence."

Galacor (V-319): His breathing became short as rage overwhelmed his body, "You bastard!" His sleeve ripped open, revealing some kind of arm cannon. He fired it right into Galacor's chest, "Feel yourself get erased from existence! Dont worry about the rest of us, we don't need you to exist!"

Galacor: "Existence scattering..." He chuckled; this started his other variant as he seemed completely unphased by this. "You cannot erase what already doesn't exist anymore." He snapped his fingers, the Phantom Emperor appeared before his variant.

Phantom Emperor: He punched a spot onto the variant's jaw. "Impact." Suddenly, there was a large burst of energy, destroying the variant's lower jaw. Before he could even figure out that his jaw was missing, the Phantom thrust his hands into the variant's mouth, ripping his head off. "Disgrace, eliminated."

Galacor: "So disappointing. Every single one of my kinds in this infinite expanse is so disappointing. Phantom, we need to deal with this. Take all of them away, every single one. Take their timelines; every trace of them must be wiped clean."

Phantom Emperor: "Yes, master." He made himself appear in The Between, his hands glowing a bright purple and blue as golden strings were stripped from the blank whiteness, piling into a large ball. "Many are now one." He clapped his hands together over the sphere of timeline strands. There was a burst of screams for a split second, and then it fell directly back into silence.

Galacor: "Retract." The Emperor's essence absorbed itself back into Galacor's body, he now stood in a blank white void, the entire timeline where that Galacor existence was now gone. "Phantom Emperor...We strike against Star and kill him once and for all for what he has done. Kill anyone he cares about in the process to make things even."

Phantom Emperor: He appeared behind Galacor, looming over his shoulder, placing his hands on his shoulders. "We shall avenge our homeworld."

Kwualvka: He tore open a spot between space and time, walking through the rift and towards Lucium, feasting on what looked like children's corpses of different species. "Sire."

Lucium: His neck snapped as he turned around to face Kwualvka. "Ah, yes, my dear minion. Have you obtained the final two shards?~" He liked his mouth clean of any remaining blood.

Kwualvka: He held one shard in his hand; this one seemed to the sounds of screams and crying coming from it. "Yes, Sire, I have obtained the Shard of Fear, but there was a problem obtaining the fourth shard."

Lucium: He cracked his neck, standing up straight on his back legs, towering over Kwualvka, "And do share what exactly this 'Problem' was." Though he continued to smile, there was a hint of frustration in his voice. He took the shard from him, absorbing into his body, he exhaled deeply and the screams of the damned were heard from within his mouth.

Kwualvka: He immediately went down on one knee, staring down at the floor. "When I searched for the Shard of the Blind at its location, it was missing, along with the final Corvex Protector. It is unlikely that the Protector gained sentience and left its post, but it's highly likely that someone got to it first. Why exactly the Protector left as well is beyond even me, Sire."

Lucium: His claws made strange crackling sounds until he suddenly thrust his hand into Kwualvka's shoulder, black energy surrounding the newly formed holes. "My patience is beginning to run thin with you. That shard is crucial to the new beginning, and I cannot act upon my plans without it. Find out who took it, kill them, and take it back, you worthless pile of metal!" His mouth ripped further open as he screamed, throwing Kwualvka to the ground.

Kwualvka: He rushed to his feet, "Yes, Sire, I promise not to fail you again..." He flapped his wings, vanishing.

Lucium: He picked out flesh from his teeth, licking it off of his fingertips, "Fucking Xerion technology..."
