"Boss..." Candy called when she might have laid back on the bed, not she but Raymond actually helped her out.
She had that lingering want in her puffy eyes.
"You can't follow me today" Raymond said because Candy had insisted that she will follow him to workout but Raymond rebuffed that.
"Why?" She asked almost pouting, she is looking like a puppy right now... Raymond observed.
"Because you need rest" Raymond finally replied to her, He got up from the bed and made to turn and walk away.
"But Bos..." She swallowed the rest of her words because of the chilly eyes Raymond snapped at her.
"It's an order!" He snapped Candy to close up her mouth as she laid back on the bed. He turned to walk away but paused and turned to look at her.
"You're off duty today" With these final words he left the room.
Walking outside, he brought out his bubble gum from his pants pocket...he removed its sack and put it into his mouth, chewing it ever so gently.
