"Do you need some help?"
Zane asks, but he's a stranger to her.
"No, I don't need hel--."
Even though she's about to refuse and doesn't need his help, he still proceeds to carry the heavy boxes.
After they're done lifting the boxes, he takes his leave right away.
Nayla is dazed as she wonders why he left right away.
"I didn't even have a chance to ask his name."
As Zane Leo reminisces about their first meeting, he can't help but smile a little.
Nayla is a bit pissed at Zane's reaction,
"Why are you smiling? Are you making fun of me?"
He shrugged it off and said,
"No, I'm not. I just remembered something; sorry if I offended you."
"Honestly, our first meeting was--"
A woman named Ava interrupted them.
"Zane, is that you? I can't believe I'll see you here again."
"I'm always here in my restaurant because I'm the owner."
Zane said coldly to her.
"Ohh, you're silly. I think this is meant to be. Why don't we jus-"
"I'm sorry, but I'm currently with someone, and as you can see, we're hanging out."
"Hmmm... but it looks like she's about to pass out, so just leave her here and let's have a drink."
Nayla is about to fall from her seat, but Zane catches her at the right time and carries her.
"You can ask someone because we have to take our leave."
Ava is pissed, looking at Zane carrying a girl she doesn't know, and goes back to her table.
'This woman, she really can't handle her alcohol but still wants to drink.'
The other waiter checked on them and said,
"Did she pass out? Should I call a cab?
"Not necessarily, I'll take care of her."
"Just close up the PUB early."
"Okay... Boss."
The staff of the PUB feel strange because they never close early and leave on time.
He walks out of the PUB to go to the taxi lane and carefully puts down Nayla at the bench so he can call a taxi.
Nayla slightly opens her eyes, and everything is blurry; she's trying to stay awake, but the liquor is too heavy for her to open her eyes completely.
'Ah.. Why am I outside? I thought I was still drinking.'
'And what is Zane doing? he must be taking a cab for me.'
'I should go home on my own. I don't want to bother him again, but my body feels so heavy, and I feel dizzy.'
Zane finally calls a cab and carries Nayla from the bench to bring her to the taxi.
'Why am I pretending to be asleep?'
'I should at least say that I can take it from here.'
"You.. Donnn't... id t.. co.. wwt me."
Nayla passed out again.
"What are you saying? I'll definitely take you home."
He chuckled as she finds her sudden reaction cute.
On their way to Zane's home, He gently leaned her head against his shoulder so she could sleep nicely.
Nayla is murmuring while asleep.
"You don't have to worry about anything, just sleep nicely."
"I didn't even have a chance to tell you how we met; maybe I'll tell you when you wake up."
He holds her hand and gets him thinking,
'Why does this person, who is so thin and small, carry a lot of weight?'
Zane leans his head on Nayla.
Nayla is walking in a familiar hallway, and she's confused as to why she's there in the middle of the night, holding a lantern.
She suddenly hears someone crying in a familiar room. As she slowly opens the door, she sees a woman crying her eyes out in bed, but she still doesn't know who she is since she's covering her face with a handkerchief.
Nayla carefully walks towards her to find out why she's crying. As she gets close to her, she slowly recognizes her.
'Is she Serlina?'
She sits beside her and slowly reaches out her hand.
But the girl who is crying suddenly shows her face and says,
"It's his fault!"
She wakes up startled, as if Serlina were in the middle of the night.
As she catches her breath, she reaches out for water from her bedside table, but there's none.
'What kind of dream is that?'
'It's just a dream, right?'
'I need water from all the sweat that came out of me'
She stands up from the bed and walks outside her room. She notices that it's so dark, so she gets the lantern from the side of her bed.
'What if this is also a dream?'
She walks down the hallway, but she starts to tremble as she remembers her scary dream.
'Why is there no electricity during this period?'
As she finds her way to the kitchen, she notices that there's a dim light in an unfamiliar room.
She carefully opens the door a short gap to check who's still awake.
It's Aizen in a library room; it seems like he's immersed in what he's reading because of his serious look.
'It looks like he's busy, and I don't want to bother him.'
'I should just look by myself in this huge mansion.'
She carefully closed the door, but Aizen heard it.
"Who's there?"
Serlina got startled, so she walked out so fast, but Aizen caught up to her easily.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm just finding a kitchen to get some water. Sorry if I disturb you; I shall take my leave."
Serlina is about to take her leave, but Aizen stops her by holding her hand.
"I'll guide you so you don't get lost."
"I don't want to disturb you. You can tell me where it is, and I'll find it by myself."
"You were never a nuisance to me, and also, I'm just reading a contract, and I can do it later."
Serlina let go of his hand.
"Alright, I shall follow your lead."
While they were walking along the hallway, a bird suddenly flew in the window, which startled Serlina.
"Are you alright?"
Aizen asked with a worried look.
"Ye- Yes, I'm alright; you don't have to worry about me. I just got easily startled because it's too dark."
"You can hold my hand to lessen your fear."
Aizen is offering his hand, but Serlina refuses because she doubts his intentions.
