For several days of traveling, Su Qingyue and her subordinate Fu Chou often only ate dry food to fill their stomachs. Seeing the aromatic dishes, they were famished.
Qingyue walked to the table and sat down, picked up chopsticks and began to eat.
Manager Wei saw her start eating first, gestured, and a maid walked to the table to serve Qingyue during the meal.
Su Qingyue glanced at Fu Chou nearby, "You eat too."
Manager Wei was just about to speak of the difference in status, being reluctant. Fu Chou spoke first, "Master, I do not have the qualification to sit at the same table with you."
"No matter." Su Qingyue said indifferently, "This is an order, just sit."
"Yes." Fu Chou sat on the chair next to her, and the maid beside them immediately added a set of bowl and chopsticks.
Manager Wei thought to say it was inappropriate, but reconsidered and decided not to interfere much.
The master and servant quietly ate their meal.
