Chapter 305 - No obligation to explain

The smile returned to adorn her previously solemn-looking face as she said, "But fortunately, he isn't like that to me and my family. You even heard how my father praised him this morning, didn't you? And that's how my husband is to us," Joanna calmly uttered, refraining from giving an exact answer to Valerie's question, as she believed that she did not have any obligation to explain her feelings to others.

Her feelings were not for the public to know. Yet there was also another reason that she could not utter. Up to the moment, she, herself, did not know the exact answer to such a question.

'Does she love him?' She did not know.

She only knew of his confession of love.

'I love you. Remember that.'

Those were the words he had said even before he left this morning.
