Xaviar went to bed last night with the intention of waking up early. However, he dreamed that mice had invaded their home, and it seemed like the mice were stealing rice; he kept thinking about the squeaky noises they made.
He loathed those mice, so he asked Chris to give him a mousetrap to chase and catch them. He ran around all night, exhausted, yet he couldn't catch any.
"Where do all these mice in the rural area come from?" Xaviar mumbled in his sleep, then turned over to continue sleeping.
Chris, who had been asleep, woke up startled by Xaviar's sudden sleep talk. He opened his eyes and frowned at the pitch-black window outside. It was such a quiet night; where would mice come from?
Just as he was thinking this, suddenly there came a chirping sound from outside the window, and the neighbors also had the sound of mice gnawing on wood. He whispered to himself: There really are mice! It looks like I need to buy some rat poison in town tomorrow.
