The next day.
Bright and early.
Sunlight seeps through the thick dark blue curtains, casting bright specks and lines of light onto the high-quality light green carpet.
The birds in the mountain forest chirp and sing in harmony.
In the bedroom.
Quiet as water.
On the big bed.
Two people, one big, one small, back to back, curled up, fast asleep.
Suddenly a phone call, by the bedside, ringing incessantly.
Ella, with eyes still closed, reaches out from under the quilt, fumbling on the bedside table, picks up the phone, blearily presses the answer button, and puts it to her ear, complaining, "Who is it? You've interrupted my beautiful dream, hello..."
"Your husband."
On the other end, someone smiles and says, "Ella my dear, aren't you going to take our sweetie to school, hmm?"
"Ah! Yes, Baby needs to go to school!"
