Room 2703.
Penny Sullivan and Wilton Lindsey have been here all morning. Laura Waltson, whether from exhaustion or something else, lay silently asleep on the bed.
"Looks like the child is still not well, getting sleepy in the morning," Penny Sullivan said softly.
"Hmm..." Wilton Lindsey nodded in agreement.
Perhaps only Cherline Lindsey knew.
She had fallen asleep because she had snuck out in the middle of the night to do some unspeakable deeds, leaving her unrested the whole night.
"Grandma, grandpa, you don't need to stay here, you can go home," Cherline Lindsey didn't want the elderly to continue worrying over Laura Waltson.
"Alright then."
Penny stood up, Cherline immediately supported her, Wilton followed behind, and the three left the hospital ward.
They hadn't gone far.
The person on the bed eagerly opened her eyes, feeling secretly pleased that her fake sleep had successfully fooled everyone.
