Penny Sullivan said with some annoyance, "If I had known earlier, I wouldn't have brought her back to the country. She caused too much trouble abroad and couldn't stay, begged me and your grandpa for days, and we agreed to bring her back. Who would have thought that after just a few days here, she wouldn't repent and actually escalated things, directly killed little Ann... treating life like grass..."
"Yes, Cherline, Laura's nature is still of a bad kid, you deal with it. Your grandma and I have decided not to take care of her anymore."
Wilton Lindsey furrowed his heavy brow, "Though I have never said it, I have always felt that the two times she had stomach pain were mysterious. She didn't eat something dirty outside, nor did she drink anything, so why did she have stomach issues for no reason?"
"Wilton, are you saying she did it on purpose?" Penny Sullivan suddenly realized.
"Ninety-nine percent likely," Wilton Lindsey nodded.
"Then she is really disappointing..."
