Ella Lacey drowsily opened her eyes and saw her husband holding little Clarissa high in his arms, the father and daughter in perfect harmony.
She suddenly sat up, rubbed her eyes, and called out, "Little darling, when did you come back?"
"This morning."
Little Clarissa left Daddy's embrace, trotted over to Ella Lacey's side, and snuggled into her arms, "I heard from Grandma that you and Daddy went out to play."
