The elderly caretaker stood at the gate, greeting them promptly with a slight bow. He pressed the remote control in his hand, and a lavish, vintage-style iron gate slowly opened.
The old man smiled and said, "Welcome home, Team Leader, welcome home to your girlfriend."
"I'm not his girlfriend," Isabella corrected him coldly.
"The Team Leader has never brought a woman home before. Miss Lindsey, you're the first. I guess the Team Leader is interested in you," the old man leaned in and whispered to her.
"..." Isabella glanced around, realizing that Julian had probably notified the family in advance; otherwise, this old man wouldn't know her surname.
"Miss Lindsey, let me introduce myself. I'm the butler, surnamed Du. You can call me Uncle Du." The elderly man had a kindly demeanor.
