"Hmm, it's not feasible to kill her for now. Mellisa, do you have a god-granddaughter or a distant relative's daughter or something?" Ruth Upperton actually came with this idea today; no matter what, she wanted to build a connection with someone related to the Foster Family.

A glint of brightness suddenly entered Mellisa Winsor's weary eyes. "I don't have one, but I could recognize one."
"What do you mean?" Ruth Upperton didn't understand.
"I mean, I could acknowledge a god-granddaughter."
Mellisa Winsor frankly continued with her, "Rachel has a classmate from A City Academy named Bertha Marley. They're very close, and she's been to our home several times before Rachel went abroad. I think she's a great person, and crucially, she's very pretty."
"So, you want to acknowledge this Bertha Marley as your granddaughter?" Ruth Upperton understood.
"Yes, she might help us break Isabella Lindsey's entanglement with Xavier." Mellisa Winsor beamed with joy.
