Isabella Harrison had her hands in the pockets of her trench coat and shook her head lightly, "Grandma Lees disagreed. But it's Michael Lees who is getting married, and if he doesn't want to, even Grandma Lees can't make up his mind."
Arabella Vanderbilt glanced at Isabella Harrison's reflection in the elevator mirror and pursed her lips, choosing not to speak further.
When they reached Arabella's office, they both took off their coats. Arabella instructed the secretary to bring over some books from the company's reading room for Isabella.
The rest of the situation was quite simple; Isabella sat on the sofa reading while Arabella handled work tasks.
The atmosphere in the office was pleasant. Occasionally, a secretary would come in to report on work, and Isabella wouldn't even look up.
