She looked up at the man, whose handsome face still bore a somewhat restrained yet heartbreaking expression.
"Don't always worry about me. The conflict point between me and the Todd Family has never been about you. As long as I don't stay with Selvia Todd, our conflict will always exist. I've never thought about what the Todd Family might bring me. I don't need it."
Arabella understood.
He was referring to the time when she stopped him from going after Selvia Todd.
"But... once the Todd Family pursues it... what if it angers them..."
Rather than suddenly gaining an enemy, it's better to maintain the status quo and let the Todd Family stay in a lukewarm middle stance.
"Don't think about it too much."
He interrupted her, "The Todd Family refuses to forgive me, and I don't plan to let the Todd Family go."
Arabella was silent for a moment, then gently nodded, "Okay. I'll listen to you."
